Taking Note of Natural Resources

by: Christine Anne Royce and Christine Anne Royce

The idea of “going green” or being aware of and reducing our impact on natural resources is receiving a lot of attention these days. Schools are starting to employ “green” practices and are soliciting help from the students to be aware of and help reduce their environmental impact. The trade books chosen for this chapter's lessons examine the use of natural resources from two different perspectives—what we do with them and how they are depleted over time.
