National Science Foundation (NSF)

- The web portal for government science information recently added the National
Science Digital Library (NSDL) to its collection. NSDL, created by NSF, provides
access to exemplary resources for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
education and research. Now users can search the databases and more than 1,800
websites previously available at Science.gov, as well as the 1.1 million records
at NSDL, all with a single click. Go to http://www.science.gov.
- This toolbar allows you to put a search box from the National Science Digital
Library (NSDL) into your internet browser. The NSDL is an online library that
directs users to high-quality resources for all levels of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics education. With the toolbar, you can search by
audience, resource type, or subject, and go through NSDL-partner portals as
well. If you find something online that you want to learn more about while
using the toolbar, you highlight a keyword in the text, right-click on your
mouse, and select “Search on NSDL.org” to find resources related to your topic.
Download the toolbar from http://nsdl.org/toolbar.
