U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

- Masterbug Theatre: For a movie and a slide show on wetland macroinvertebrates,
visit Masterbug Theatre, an EPA Office of Water website located at http://www.epa.gov/owow/nps/kids/BUGTHTR.HTM.
Both presentations discuss simple and complete metamorphosis of various species.
- From soccer balls to cell phones to DVDs, the EPA's Life Cycle poster series
teaches students to
understand the environmental impacts of everyday products. These posters track
where products come from, how they are manufactured and transported, how to
maximize their useful life, and what happens to
them after use. The series, which is also available in Spanish, can help teens
(grades 6–12) make informed decisions to protect the environment. For free
copies, visit http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/education/teach_curric.htm.
