Isaac
Newton Olympics
May 2001
During the Isaac Newton Olympics, students move through seven stations, completing
hands-on activities that explore Newton’s laws of motion. After each activity
students complete a short evaluation that reinforces what they have learned
and how it relates to everyday life. Student and teacher instructions are provided
for three of the stations—shooting hoops, standing long jump, and cork on yarn.
