We Are the Pirates of the Caribbean!

October 2001

The focus of this activity was on raising awareness about “pirate” activities in the area, including: damage to the coral reef and the resulting decrease in biodiversity; the plundering of oil and mineral resources off the coast; and increases in the production of greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
